LOWD's debut palette The First Letter Eyeshadow Palette has been named "Eyeshadow of the Year" by Sweden's leading beauty magazine, after competing against four other palettes from prominent international brands.

• Always start with a primer or some form of base before applying eyeshadow. Not to prime is a crime!

• Start by applying a neutral base color all over the lid. This will make the other shadows blend into each other more easily. For light skin tones, Lazy works well, for darker skin tones, you can use, for example, Logic or Lasting.

• The shadows are easiest to blend if you work from light to dark shadows, building up the pigment gradually.
